La insoportable levedad de la vida

Espacio Rojo. Córdoba.
abril > junio 2008

A zinc bath with black paint on which a spinal cord rests made of white cotton thread. As the exhibition days pass by, the thread will absorb all the black oil reaching the root, anchored at the room’s ceiling. That is the physical concept from La insoportable levedad de la vida. The need to return again and again, the desire to scape and always end up coming back, even if you never leaved, life’s transience and its meaning, just a small period inside time’s immensity, unrealizable desires, frustrated dreams before expiration of life’s imminence.
