The papers from which Diarios de Navegación is composed are my mother’s writings, that I have been collecting once she began attending adult school until she became a victim from Alzheimer. 20 years passed by until she learned to read and write. However, her sickness ripped out from her all of her achievements. Some of the papers are fragmented, damaged or cracked over time. These papers have been treated during one, two, three or four days, with corrosive acids (nitric and sulphuric acids) in a 68% dissolution. This treatment’s ultimate goal is to cause the drop of leaf remainders on the pavement during the sample’s duration, planned for six months and to make it blend with the sample’s heart, which is not other than the breathing of TIME. A work of art alive until its death, with an expiration date.
